An experimental assessment of the uncertainty in air-borne sound isolation measurements on board ships is performed. The obtained statistics allow for extraction measurement precision and uncertainties due to different operators carrying out R'w measurements for sleeping cabins on board ships. The results of these measurements are compared with the expected uncertainties on the basis of relevant ISO guidelines
