A vibration test was performed to estimate the stiffness and damping of top-bracing. Since the test condition is a single sinusoidal, but the harmonic frequency is present, the damping and stiffness were extracted at the harmonic frequency from each hysteresis loop. Experimental results show that top-bracing has sufficient dynamic characteristics at the frequency of use. Also based on the Experimental results, the governing equations of top-bracing were modeled as a 1-DOF complex stiffness-complex damping system and had a stable condition.
