As a kind of vibration isolation element, air spring has been widely used in ship vibration isolation system. The load-bearing characteristics of the air spring was researched theoretically to realize the accurate control of its internal pressure. A load-bearing equation of the restriction diaphragm air spring was derived and proved. Firstly, a mechanical model of the air spring was established according to the elastic thin shell theory. Secondly, the air spring load-bearing theoretical expression was deduced using the equilibrium differential equation, the physical equation with the boundary condition. Finally,test shows that the load-bearing calculation curve of certain air spring can reflect the test curve well.
