In our 'new' highly connected world, we are fed (and possibly submerged) with large and growing amounts of information. Texts tend to be scanned rather than read, more time is spent using and facing numerical media or supports. The way we acquire knowledge is also logically impacted by these changes. In this communication, some possible alternatives to classical teaching materials and corresponding perspectives for transmitting information with applications to acoustics & vibrations are discussed. The presented works and examples of 'visual narratives' include video games, comics and reactive web documents that can be all used for educational purposes with entertainment as a keyword, and as a preamble to the explanation of more complicated concepts.
