ACTIVE CONTROL OF VEHICLE INTERIOR ROAD NOISE USING NFXLMS ALGORITHM WITH TWO LOUDSPEAKERS

It is considered that the highly dependency for operating conditions of traditional time-domain filtered-x least mean square (FXLMS) algorithm in the active vehicle interior road noise control system. This paper establishes a multi-channel active road noise control (ARNC) system based on normalized filtered-x least mean square (NFXLMS) algorithm to improve the adaptability of ARNC system to operating conditions. Firstly, the mathematical model of the multi-channel ARNC system based on NFXLMS algorithm is established by theoretical deri-vation. Furthermore, the computational complexity of the algorithm is derived and compares with the traditional time domain FXLMS algorithm. Secondly, the simulation model, which consists of 4 reference signals, 2 loudspeakers and 1 microphone, based on FXLMS and NFXLMS algorithms is established respectively. The condition adaptability and noise reduc-tion effect of the two systems is compared by offline simulation. Finally, a hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test platform of the two systems based on MicrAutoBox is built, and the on road test is carried out.
