INVESTIGATION INTO ACOUSTIC ENVIRONMENT IN WAITING HALL OF XIAMEN NORTH RAILWAY STATION

The waiting hall of extra-large high-speed railway station is the most important public space, and its acoustic quality plays an important role in the whole station. Through on-site measurements and subjective questionnaire, acoustic environment of the waiting hall of Xiamen North railway station was investigated. The results show that the sound pressure level of public broadcasting is 73.8dBA, and the sound pressure level of Chinese broadcasting is 74.0dBA, and the sound pressure level of English broadcasting is 72.9dBA. Because of the frequent public broadcasting, the sound pressure level monitored in 20 minutes in the waiting hall is 72.4dBA. When there is no public broadcasting, the ambient noise in the waiting room is 63.5dBA. In terms of subjective evaluation, Quietness in the waiting room was rated as "average", and the evaluation of public broadcasting is "clear", and the evaluation of sound comfort is "average".
